What this covers

This policy covers One Hour, the app the church’s prayer line volunteers use to keep their schedule, and its text alerts.

What we use

• Your name and phone numbers, read from the church’s Planning Center directory when you sign in. We don’t ask you to enter them again, and to change them you update Planning Center.
• Your text alert choice: whether you turned alerts on, for which number, and when. This is our record of your consent.
• Your prayer line schedule: the hours you keep, time away and covers.

How we use it

Only to run the prayer line: to connect calls to the volunteer on duty and to send the alerts and scheduling notices you agreed to. We never use your number for marketing.

Sharing

Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in information are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use a small number of service providers only to run One Hour: Planning Center (the church directory), Twilio (phone calls and texts) and DigitalOcean (hosting). They handle data on our behalf and not for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Your schedule and text alert choice are kept while you’re on the prayer line team. Call records and voicemails are deleted after about a year.

Your choices

You can turn text alerts off at any time by replying STOP or in One Hour. To leave the team or ask about your information, email the church office at [email protected]. See also the text alert terms.
